TRANSPORT
INTO COOLANGATTA
Event Shuttle Services
FREE Shuttle Bus Services will be running continuously to transfer patrons from both north and south of the Festival Site:
From 10.00 am Shuttle Services will run from
- Broadbeach Light Rail Station- Linking with northern Gold Coast residents.
- The heavy rail Station at Varsity Lakes, links with Brisbane residents
- Free Shuttle services will be running from Brunswick Heads – pick up points will be announced closer to the date.
- All Shuttle services will run continuously for ingress, from 10am to 7pm
Parking
There will be limited parking around Coolangatta, all is regulated and on a 3hr limit.
Park and Ride
A Park and Ride location will be available at Betty Diamond Park, Boyd St, Tugun, from 9, 00 am. Buses will transfer patrons to Coolangatta a twenty-minute ride away.
A similar Park and Ride service will be set up in Tweed Heads to cater for those coming from the south- (location TBC)
LEAVING COOLANGATTA
Event Shuttle Services
From 7pm, return Shuttle services will leave from the venue to locations as above.
All services will run continuously, from well-defined stops, set up on Marine Parade, Coolangatta, adjacent to the site exit,
Services will continue ‘till the site has been cleared.
Taxis and Ride Share
Taxi and Ride Share Drop off and Pick up Zones will be established on Marine Parade, Coolangatta, immediately opposite the venue exit gates.
All Shuttle, Taxi and Ride share drop off and pick up locations will be well signed, and will have Security guards in attendance
